Century Arms is excited to have begun importation of some rare Ethiopian Surplus ammunition. This ammunition is manufactured to 7.62×51 NATO specifications using a 145 grain full metal jacket projectile. Additionally the projectile does feature a lead core but it is unclear as to the makeup of the metal that was used for the jacket. It should be assumed that the jacket may contain some trace elements of steel which would mean it has a bi-metal jacket and as such would attract a magnet. The cases are made from brass however they are not reloadable since they are berdan primed. Moreover this surplus ammunition will contain corrosive powder, primers or a combination of the two. Since this ammo is corrosive you should remember to clean the bore of your firearm very thoroughly after use.
